Here is my list of natural remedies that I have found work so far.
Swimmers Ear: Pour a little bit of peroxide in the ear. It will dry out the water in the ear and some kids love the popping sensation as they feel the pain go away. Just as a note though. Do not use this if your child is already screaming. This is for a mild case.
Fungal Sinus Infection: 1 drop peroxide, 1 drop apple cider vinegar (natural antibiotic), a pink of sea salt, a pinch of baking soda, and water that has been boiled and cooled to room temp. Put in a neti pot and do a sinus rinse. It hurts. I would not recommend this for younger children.
Common Ear Infection: take olive oil into a pan and crush a little bit of garlic into it. Warm this over your burner and then allow it to cool. Then strain the garlic out and put a few drips in your child’s ear using an eyedropper, You can buy them at most drug stores if you don’t have one. The important thing is to make sure it’s cool before you use it.
